Pumpkin Patch Fall Front Door

What screams basic more than a front porch spilling over with pumpkins?! LOL I don’t care how “basic” I seem, I’m pretty much obsessed with covering front porches with pumpkins!

A couple of weeks ago, I took my parents to my favorite local pumpkin patch and gathered these pretty fairytale pumpkins. Read my tips about how to choose the best pumpkins to decorate with HERE. It’s taken a bit of time, but I’ve finally got my front door ready to go, and I’m so excited to share it with you!

Fairytale Pumpkins

I did a full post HERE about how I chose these guys, but my main goal here was to gather pastel, neutral pumpkins that were unique in shape and sizes. After my mom and I played a game of Tetris to get these pumpkins to sit just right, this is what we came up with! We both thought it was important to balance out the doormat with a couple pumpkins to the left. I strategically chose to use my tri-color pumpkin since it has colors from the entire color palette in it’s rind, tying everything together!

Chalk Painted Chair + Pumpkin Sack

Who hasn’t seen this cute little sack from Target’s dollar spot? It’s to die for! I actually had planned to try and DIY an outdoor pillow with a pumpkin patch saying, but this little sack from the dollar spot was significantly cheaper than DIYing. Though I love to DIY, I just couldn’t beat this price.  I stuffed this sack with an outdoor pillow and put a little white pumpkin next to it so it didn’t seem so lonely on my chair!

Galvanized Bucket Planter + Mums

My mom actually thought this galvanized planter would be perfect next to the chair, and I have to agree. This galvanized bucket has been a great staple piece throughout the seasons. I found it at HomeGoods a few months ago, and I’m sure if you keep an eye out, you’ll eventually find a similar one while on the hunt. I chose to get maroon mums to pull from my wreath, but was really careful not to get the mums with a purple hue.

Layered Doormat + Rug

Yup, I’ve finally jumped on the layered doormat trend, and I’m kinda low-key obsessed. I give more details of how to DIY this doormat HERE, and I am loving how cute this little phrase is. I found this rug at Target in the seasonal section, and was pleasantly surprised to find out it was only $20! I knew I wanted a neutral rug with a little pattern, but nothing too busy. When I saw this rug I knew it was the one! I couldn’t find it on their website, but HERE is a similar one.

Fall Wreath

Here’s my OG fall wreath from a few years ago, read how to make it HERE. I decided to switch out the bow from a chevron print to a traditional burlap bow. I’m loving the simplicity of it. Though I love this wreath, I may be making a new one in the future… stay tuned!

Sweet, simple, and so pleasant to come home to! I’d love to see your front doors! Tag me in your fall front door and I’ll share them on my instagram stories!
