I’ve always wanted to try those stovetop recipes for different scents for the fall and winter. This past weekend, I decided to make a Christmas inspired stovetop recipe, and my goodness – it worked! There are so many different variations of these online, but I really love the mix of citrus, fresh rosemary, and spices in this particular blend.
How it Works
These jars are super easy! All you do is slice the cutie, add everything to simmering water (on low) on the stovetop, and let the Christmas aromas take over!
I’ve created a freebie tag for these jars to make them perfect for gifting! Get the tags by subscribing to the newsletter HERE during the month of December 2019. I printed these tags on kraft paper to add a rustic touch.
Perfect, Affordable DIY Gift
I am really loving using the mini mason jars (find them HERE) for projects lately (I used them in THIS project last week), and I think this size is also perfect for gifting. Add some pretty twine and the freebie tag, and you have yourself the best little DIY gift that is also very affordable!
What You Need
The following is what you need for one small mason jar size. Double this recipe for larger jars!
- Mason jar, THESE are the small ones I used for this project
- 2 tablespoons whole cloves
- 1/4 cup fresh cranberries
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 cutie tangerine
- 1 fresh sprig rosemary
- twine and freebie tag (get the freebie by subscribing to the newsletter HERE)
- Layer the ingredients in your small mason jar so the cloves are on the bottom, then the cranberries, cinnamon stock (position to the side), cutie, and finally the rosemary.
- Add the finishing touches of twine and freebie tag!
I hope this adds a little inspiration to your day!
